Weekly Haul Report: March 9, 2015 - March 15, 2015

Well my friends, it was another great week for game hunting! We once again traveled many a great mile and to many a great store to find, what we consider, an amazing haul. The week had started off pretty slow, amounting to a whole lot of nothing. But soon enough, the weekend arrived and the weekend happens to be our most productive time of the week to get some REAL work done. The search began early (by weekend standards), but only produced a couple small finds here and there throughout the day. But then, out of nowhere, I get the text from Alex, “Jackpot”.

I'll start off this week with my finds. I ventured out to a few early morning garage sales, but came up with nothing. Nothing!?... Shame. Feeling slightly defeated, I decided to go have a bagel and continue my journey to a few local thrift stores. I was able to net two PlayStation 2 games and one Game Boy Advance game:

Scarface: The World Is Yours

NHL 2002 (Impulse buy... love hockey games)

All in all, not a bad grab of some fun titles and at prices that couldn't be beat regardless. Hopefully my next venture will bring a bit more treasure my way.

While I was searching a bit inland, Alex had gone up the coast for the day and stumbled upon two great thrift stores that had just received some retro treasures. For a ridiculously small fee he was able to acquire the following items:

PS1 Console -Was marked as is, but gave it a quick cleaning and it works flawless!
Atari Anniversary Edition Remix
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2

Game Boy
Game Boy Pocket Console (Green)
 Game Boy Advance Console (Glacier)
Both working great!

Game Boy & Game Boy Color Games
Monster Rancher Battle Card
Legend of River King
 Mickeys Ultimate Challenge
Metroid 2
Donkey Kong
Pokemon Red
Super RC Pro Am
A Boy and His Blob: The Rescue of Princess Blobette
Kirby's Dream Land 2
Dr. Mario
Bugs Bunny
Pipe Dreams (JAP)
Gameshark Pro

Game Boy Advance Games
Dragonball Z Legend of Goku
Metroid Fusion
Mario Kart Super Circuit
Kirby Nightmare in Dreamland

This past week proved to be a great time for collecting some quality retro gaming goods. We surely cannot expect such good fortune all the time but when it does happen we really appreciate our luck. Thanks for reading and remember we are always looking to hear about any finds that you have made recently. If you stumbled across some treasure, be sure to drop us a comment in the section below. We would love to hear about it!
